Studio West Dance Theatre hosts the 11th Annual Dance to Make a Difference Charity Gala on February 23, 2019. This event brings together dance companies from across the Puget Sound, with all net proceeds from this year’s gala benefiting two local non-profits: Homes First and Family Support Center of South Sound (FSCSS). The gala reception begins at 6:00 pm with a light dinner, dessert, wine, live music, and auction. The performance on the main stage follows at 8:00 pm.

Performers at the DTMD Gala will be Spectrum Dance Theater (Seattle), Southwest Washington Dance (Chehalis), Momentum Dance (Burien), Evergreen City Ballet (Renton), and from Olympia: Ballet Northwest, Powers Ballroom, Olympic Ballroom, Beat Box Jrs., Edge, and Studio West Dance Theater. Original choreography will also be presented, featuring the premier of a new work, “Abundant Chaos,” by choreographer and Pacific Northwest Ballet Soloist Joshua Grant.
